We’ve Updated Our Composite Top 100 Public Golf Courses in the U.S.
The spreadsheet now reflects the 2025 updates from Golf Digest and Golfweek.
Heads up: We’ve updated our spreadsheet containing a composite and average ranking across top 100 public course lists at GOLF, Golf Digest, and Golfweek. It now reflects the mid-2025 updates from the latter two publications. Download the spreadsheet here.
As one might expect, the biggest movers are among the golf courses that were simply too new (or newly renovated) to previously appear across all three rankings. The Lido, Sand Valley’s latest, rises all the way to 10th overall. Among the other newbies, Pinehurst No. 10 slides in at 20th, Landmand is at 27, Sedge Valley is at 30, and Cabot Karoo comes in 39th.
The excel sheet has all the stuff of the previous iteration: individual rankings by publication, some caveats and notes on methodology, columns for location, etc. But now you can visualize the change and see the updates.
