Welcome to Golf Trip Guide, a Brand New Thing.
We’re here to help you find your next golf trip.

Golf travel is having a moment, spurred onward and outward by a barrage of content reminding us to get out, to check that next resort off the bucket list or find a hidden gem closer to home. To spend a week or a weekend in golfing bliss, engaging in conversation and some meaningless—but thrilling—competition with friends. We’re so often exposed to tantalizing drone footage and photography these days that it just about buys our plane tickets for us.
Of course, it might be easier if it did. For all the options out there, it can be difficult to wade through and land on a destination, making sure you’re getting the absolute most out of your time and money.
That’s what this little slice of golf internet intends to help you with. We want to help you stay informed on developments. We’re here to provide helpful info on how to plan, what to expect, what to bring. And we’re aiming to equip travel pros and novices alike with the info they need to make the most of their (always) too-limited opportunities for golf travel.
To get right to the heart of it: We want to make it easier for you to find and plan your next golf trip.
That mission will take a few different shapes. We highly recommend you sign up for our weekly newsletter, where you’ll learn about one featured trip each week, stay up to date on recent openings and renovations, receive curated ideas for new gear and apparel, and be alerted to Golf Trip Guide originals—i.e., the stuff we publish on the website you’re reading right now. You’ll also get the Hand-Drawn Chart of the Week. You don’t want to miss the Hand-Drawn Chart of the Week.
And as to the aforementioned content we’ll publish on this website, well, we’re going to be experimenting a bit in the early going. We’ll write about our own golf travel experiences and the resorts and courses on our list. We’ll put together some guides for folks looking to serve a particular interest—say, planning a bachelor party or seeking out a budget-friendly golf weekend. We’ll review some gear and round-up some top choices for everything from golf socks to rangefinders, water bottles to rain gear. And we may even expand on some key developments in golf travel worth your time and attention.
It’s a moving target, for now, and we welcome your feedback on the content here or in our newsletter. Drop us a note anytime at hello@golftripguide.com. And you might as well follow us on X, Bluesky, or our as yet untouched Instagram, as well. Regardless of how you consume, we appreciate you reading and spending a little bit of your day with us.
